I offer free surveys, advice and quotations for all thatching work. I can also provide insurance surveys free of charge.

I undertake all manner of thatching work using the three main thatching materials:

• Long straw

• Wheat reed

• Water reed

The types of projects that I work on include:

• small patching jobs

• summer houses

• new ridges

• general repairs

• complete replacement of thatch on existing roofs

• new thatch on extensions and new buildings

When necessary, I liaise with conservation officers as much of the work I carry out is on listed buildings. I have Heritage Skills Industry Accreditation and am therefore approved and qualified to work on grant aided projects for local authorities.
